Suggestions For A Better Browsing Experience
Welcome and thank you for visiting my blog site! Although you are free to randomly browse around, I would just like to offer a few suggestions here to make things a little easier to understand. Since the site is fairly new, most of the blog posts so far have been from my story so rather than reading out of sequence from the current posts below, you may want to click on the About link first to get an idea of what this site is all about.
Then, if you want to read My Story from the beginning (like a book), just hover on that link and you will find a drop-down menu of several parts of my story that in turn, contain individual chapters or posts all in chronological order. To protect the privacy of those involved, all names have been changed, including my own—I am using a pseudonym or pen name.
For now, those are the only posts, but as of today, I’ll be writing on many other scriptural topics as well as explaining various aspects of the LDS Church. I will also be happy to answer any questions that I can. Please check back often as I plan to post at least once a week, although it has been more than that so far. I am working on adding social media buttons as well so people will also have the choice to follow and/or share posts.
If you are interested in posts about a specific topic, you can select a category from the Topic Category drop-down list in the right-hand side bar. You’ll then be able to see all the posts in that category.
If you would like to study the scriptures by Topic, the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints has the most extensive Topical Guide of any Christian church I have ever seen. You will find almost any topic in this guide with a list of all correlated scriptures. The LDS church’s official copy of the Bible is the King James Version. It’s exactly like any other KJV except that it has headings, footnotes, and cross-references that refer similar verses and references with our other standard works of scripture. It will also contain the Joseph Smith translations of certain verses in the back.
Thank you again for visiting! Feel free to leave a comment or suggestion. There’s a clickable comment bubble located at the top right of each post title and also a link at the end of each post. All comments will need to be approved in order to keep things clean and appropriate. You can also send me an email if you would like to be notified when a new post has been added or for any other reason.
Looking forward to hearing from you!
